Hair loss in men and women is normal. It’s true that men are more likely to lose their hair than women, mostly due to more male hormones called Androgens. (More on that later). But thinning hair and hair loss are also common in women, and no less demoralizing. A woman’s body goes through a lot of changes through her entire course of life. These changes can at times be a contributing factor in hair loss. Reasons can range from the simple and temporary vitamin deficiency to the more complex, like an underlying health condition.In this article, I will discuss some of the major reasons for Hair Loss in Women that I’ve observed over the years in my clinic.
