The International Association Of Trichologists (IAT) is a non-profit corporation that was founded in California in 1974. This well-respected organization was developed to advance the study, research, and practical application involving all areas of treatment related to caring for the hair and scalp. In 1974-75, the IAT developed a trichology course at the University of Southern California that is now taught in over 20 countries around the world. Dr. Meha represents India in IAT and TRESSEZ is affiliated with IAT to conduct Trichology Certification Courses in India. This is the only university-developed trichology course. It was developed at the University of Southern California in 1974-75 under a grant from the Redken Foundation. IAT is a truly international organization and hold conferences in many countries, which allows for great networking. Recent conferences have been held in Australia, America, India, Brazil and Argentina. The Board of Directors comprises IAT members from several countries. Dr. Meha is Board of Members of IAT and a certified IAT Trichology Trainer.
